Transport Canada OKs oil tanker traffic in Kitimat | CTV British Columbia
Transport Canada OKs oil tanker traffic in Kitimat | CTV British Columbia
Not surprising at all that Transport Canada should ok oil tanker traffic in Kitimat.
They are after all a department within the Harper( oops Canadian) government determined to see this pipeline go through. Would transport Canada be liable in any way if this pipeline should go through and there should be a spill ?
Could Transport Canada be held accountable for assessing this project as low risk when in fact it is a project putting our coastline at risk of a major spill?
Not that any financial recourse could ever make up for the devastation of a spill
on our land or ocean...
